Charles Hoskinson discovered the Son of Krawju figurine at a kaiju convention. The creature's raw, primordial design immediately captured his imagination. And he then posted about it on X. For reasons known only to Charles, he called it Crawju — with a C. That single letter gave the creature its own distinct online identity, separate from the IP but unmistakably connected to it.
The Memecoin
The memecoin launched fairly on Snek Fun with no formal team, becoming a fully community-owned token from day one. Charles kept posting about it on X, brought it up on podcasts, and even bought the token live on stream — turning a kaiju figurine into a Cardano moment nobody saw coming. What started as a community meme has since grown into something more intentional through obtaining a licensing deal: staying true to who Crawju is as a character, aligning with the original IP, while preserving the creative freedom that made the community fall in love with him in the first place.
The Meme

The goal is to take these ancient, primal forces and place them into the moments everyone recognizes. Markets, relationships, daily wins and losses. Letting the character breathe through the culture rather than just existing on a chart.
